Relationship between expectations of the superiors and the performance of the employees : a case study in the superiors of the Royal Chitralada project
Abstract:
The objectives of this research are 1) to study the level of superiors' expectations 2) to
study differences of superiors' expectations under different personal factors and 3) to study the
relationship between expectations of the superiors and performance of the employees. This
research was carried out with 155 superiors of the Royal Chitralada Project. The data were
collected from questionnaires. Statistics using for data analysis were means, standard deviation,
t-test, F-test, and correlation value at the statistics significance level of 0.05
The results of the investigation showed that the superiors with different genders, ages,
and working experiences showed similar expectation on the employees performance. On the
other hand, the superiors with different educational background will also have major different
expectation on their employees. The superiors' expectation have positive relationship with
employees' performance at the statistics significance level of 0.05
