The Condition and Guideline for Development of the 21st Century Leadership Skills of School Administrators Under Lampang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1
Abstract:
This study aims to examine and compare leadership skills and explore approaches for developing 21st-century leadership skills among school administrators under the Lampang Primary Educational Service Area Office 1. The sample consisted of 274 teachers and school administrators. Data were collected through questionnaires and interviews with five experts. Descriptive statistics, including percentage, mean, and standard deviation, as well as inferential statistics, such as t-test and F-test, were used for data analysis, along with content analysis. The findings revealed that school administrators 21st-century leadership skills were at a high level, with visionary leadership having the highest mean score. A comparative analysis based on position and school size indicated statistically significant differences at the 0.05 level, whereas no significant differences were found based on work experience. The key approaches for leadership development include establishing and communicating a shared vision, fostering participation and morale, enhancing two-way communication and technology utilization, integrating technology into management, and applying systematic problem analysis. These aspects were synthesized into four core strategies: fostering stakeholder engagement, utilizing technology in administration, developing analytical and creative thinking skills, and cultivating a lifelong learning culture.
