Improvement of Rearing False Chown Anemonefish (Amphiprion ocellaris) by Feefing Practical Diets: In vitro Digestibility Efficiency of Practical Diets with Crude Enzyme
Abstract:
In vitro digestibility efficiency of 5 practical diets of clown anemonefish (Amphiprion ocellaris) was dderermined by using crude enzyme. Three different plant ingredient sources namely soybean meal (SBM), spiru meal (SM), macroalgae (MM.caulewpa sp.) were used as plant ingredient sources substituted fish meal (FM) in diet 2-5. Diet 1 was a control treatment without added plant ingredient while diet 2 contained the mixture of SBM and SM 20 percent and diet 3-5 contained SBM, SM and MM 10 percent replaced fish meal. All practical diets contained protein 62.5-64 percent. Crude enzyme from digestive tract 3, 5 and 6 month of clown anemonefish (A.ocellaris) was extracted and digested the practical diets at 25 º C for 24 hrs. Results showed that clown anemonefish (A.ocellaris) of 3 mouth olds enable todigest the practical diets insignificantly difference (p>0.05). They digested diets 2, diets 3 and diet 5 different from diet 4 significantly (p<0.05) but insignificantly from diet 1 (control) (P>0.05). Therefore, it can be concluded that fish meal can be replaced by soybean meal, spirulina meal and macroalgae meal in practicall diets of clown anemonefish (A.ocellaris) at least 10 percent.
