Data analysis employed descriptive statistics including percentage, mean, standard deviation, Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified) technique, needs prioritization, and content analysis. The results revealed that The current state of innovation ecosystem development was overall at a low level, while the desired state of innovation ecosystem development was overall at a high level. The components ranked by priority needs from highest to lowest were promoting innovation culture, knowledge leadership, innovation collaboration networks, and innovation resources. The guidelines formulated for developing the innovation ecosystem of pilot schools in the educational innovation area of Chiang Mai Province comprised principles, objectives, 44 innovation ecosystem development approaches, and success conditions for developing the innovation ecosystem of pilot schools in the educational innovation area of Chiang Mai Province.
