Abstract:
This research aimed to examine factors affecting employee engagement at Thai Factory Development Public Company Limited., which include: salary, benefits, bonuses, special awards, financial assistance on various occasions, work environment, job description, and supervisory management. This research was used as a conceptual framework. A survey questionnaire was administered to 350 employees, which was tested with a reliability score of 0.70. Data analysis utilized basic statistics, including frequency, percentage, mean, t-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression analysis at the .05 level of significance to analyze factors related to employee engagement.
The research on personal factors revealed that the majority of respondents are male (186 people, 53.10%), aged 26-30 years (92 people, 26.30%), single (152 people, 44.90%), lower than bachelor's degree (157 people, 31.40%), had a salary of 15,001 baht or more (156 persons or 44.60%), and the age of majority is 1-3 years of employment (136 persons, 38.90%).
Employees placed the highest important on salary, followed by bonuses and welfare. These factors significantly explained the variance in factors related to the employee engagement at .05 level of significance.
Regarding factors related to enhancing work atmosphere in the workplace placed the highest importance on job characteristics, followed by supervisory management and relationships with colleagues, which significantly explained the variance in factors related to employee engagement at .05 level.
