Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to study the educational institution administration, according to the principles of good governance in the basic educational institutions in Phayakkhaphum Phisai District under the Office of Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area 2; 2) to compare such educational institution administration based on the samples qualification: position, educational degree and working experience; 3) to present the ways to promote and develop such educational institution administration in the research area. This study was conducted by means of the mixed method of qualitative and quantitative research methodologies. The research tools included interviews and a questionnaire were used to get the data. The obtain data were presented by the descriptive analysis through the statistical method.
The research results were as follows:
1) The study results of the educational institution administration, according to the principles of good governance in the basic educational institutions in Phayakkhaphum Phisai District under the Office of Mahasarakham Primary Educational Service Area 2 were as follows:
1.1) The application of the rule of law: education personnel understand and strictly adhere to the administrative regulations based on the rule of law.
1.2) The application of that moral principle: personnel adhere to correctness and honesty in performing their work according to morality within the educational institutions.
1.3) The application of the principle of transparency: educational administrators have a committee to examine the operations with accuracy and transparency with clear, verified documents in accordance with the government regulations within the educational institutions.
1.4) The application of the principle of participation School administrators encourage all personnel to Have participated in commenting In performing administrative duties in educational institutions
1.5) The application of the principle of responsibility: all personnel are responsible for their work according to their knowledge, abilities, aptitudes and experience. The responsibilities are shared clearly within the educational institutions.
1.6) The application of the value principle: educational administrators continually think and plan their work together with personnel in the organization in order to operate efficiently.
2) The comparative results of such educational institution administration based on the samples qualification: position, educational degree and working experience revealed that the educational administrators and teachers had indifferent opinions based on the statistical method towards the application.
3) The ways to promote and develop such educational institution administration in the research area are that both administrators and teachers suggested that he educational institution administration, according to the principles of good governance should be treated seriously until it is successful by conducting projects, supporting activities and integrated operational planning that covers the entire organization to achieve efficiency and empirical effectiveness.
