Influence of interstitial variables on employees loyalty linked to knowledge management and transformational leadership affecting the crisis management strategies of the accommodation business groups in Thailand
Abstract:
The objectives of this research were 1) to study learning management, transformational leadership, employees loyalty, and crisis management strategies of the accommodation business groups in Thailand, 2) to study the influent levels of the learning management, the transformational leadership and the employees loyalty affecting the crisis management strategies of the accommodation business groups in Thailand, 3) to study the influence of the interstitial variables of the employees loyalty linked to knowledge management and transformational leadership affecting the crisis management strategies of the accommodation business groups in Thailand, and 4) to examine the consistency of the causal relationship patterns of the interstitial variables and the factors influencing the crisis management strategies. The samples used in the research were 580 accommodation administrators randomized by multi-stage sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire. The statistics were the structural equation modelling.
The research findings were as follows.
1. The level of the performance of the variables of the knowledge management, the transformational leadership, the employees loyalty, and the crisis management strategies of the accommodation business groups in Thailand was at a high level.
2. All of the factors of the knowledge management, the transformational leadership and the employees loyalty were used together to predict the influence affecting the crisis management strategies by 72.80%.
The factors of the knowledge management and the transformational leadership were used together to predict the influence affecting the employees loyalty by 49.00%.
3. The indirect influent path of the knowledge management affecting the crisis management strategies through the employees loyalty had the path coefficient at .21 with the statistical significance at the level of .01.
The total of the influence of the knowledge management influencing the crisis management strategies through the employees loyalty had the path coefficient at .43 with the statistical significance at the level of .01.
The indirect path of the transformational leadership affecting the crisis management strategies of the accommodation business groups through the employees loyalty had the path coefficient at .23 with the statistical significance at the level of .01.
The total of the influence of the transformational leadership influencing the crisis management strategies through the employees strategies had the path coefficient at .43 with the statistical significance at the level of .01.
4. According to the examination of the consistency of the causal relationship patterns of the interstitial variables and the factors influencing the crisis management strategies, the findings showed that the model fit the empirical data at
χ²/df = 1.07, p-value=.08, GFI=.94, AGFI=.93, CFI=.97, RMSEA=.01, RMR=.03
