Abstract:
This research aimed 1) to develop and assess the effectiveness of a 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set, according to criteria set at 80/80, 2) to examine students' learning outcomes after studying with the 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set; and 3) to investigate the satisfaction level of the fourth grade students towards the 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set. The sample group consisted of 31 fourth-grade students from Mercy Christian School, Ubon Ratchathani Province, studying in the second semester of academic year 2023. The research tools used in this study included a set of 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set developed by the researcher using the ADDIE Model instructional media design principles which consisted of four parts, performance assessment questionnaires, and satisfaction surveys regarding the 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set. The statistics employed in this research were standard deviation, mean, and percentage.
The research results revealed that:
1. The 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set was effective, with a score of 84.43/90.33, which was higher than the set criterion.
2. The learning outcomes of the students after learning with the 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set (X = 18.06, S.D. = 1.80) were significantly higher than before learning (X = 8.87, S.D. = 1.94) with statistical significance at the .05 level.
3. The overall satisfaction level of the students after learning with the 2D animation musical notes reading skills training set was at the highest level (X=4.58, S.D. = 0.60).
