Abstract: The purposes of the study were: 1) to study a morphological system of Burmese language in Sagaing Division of Myanmar, and 2) to compare morphological system of Burmese language with standard in Sagaing Division of Myanmar. The research used a mixed method of both documentary research and qualitative research. The study was divided into 2 parts according to the research objectives. The data was collected from in-depth interviews and an informal focus group, individual discussions and observations of the officers on-duty. The population of the study were totally 380 divided students and villagers who lived in Thaung Gyi village of Sagaing Division. The samples of the study included totally 191 students and villagers obtained by gathered method. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage, mean and standard deviation (SD). The research findings showed: The researcher found that firstly, the findings of morphological words explored data in two categories such as questionnaires implemented to ask 380 respondents in total, most of them were male and female. The participants were 191 students and villagers and most of them used Burmese to communicate in the area of study. Secondly, the researcher found that word class compound used of both Burmese language and English language were at very little such car-wheel, language school. The superordinate-subordinate compound words of Burmese dialects are not so difficult. The difficulties of Superordinate-Subordinate compound words of Burmese language were at a low level in terms of evaluation such robber-man and teacher-house. The compound words of Burmese morphology used very little with the words such working-place and monastery-ground etc. The semantic compound words of Burmese morpheme word lists used such happiness and mind reader etc. The difficulties of rhyming compound forms of Burmese morpheme word slits used in each language such Poison pen letter and delusion way etc. The difficulties of affixed compound nouns of Burmese morpheme word slits used in each language was at very little level of evaluation such drinking water and eating and drinking etc. The difficulties of nominalization of Burmese morpheme word slits used in each language was at very little level of evaluation such development party and teaching method. The difficulties of reduplication of Burmese morpheme word slits used in each language was at very little level of evaluation such think tank and liberation activities.
