The Structural Equation Modeling of Factors Influencing Educational Innovative Organization of Primary Schools under Office of The Basic Education Commission
Abstract:
The objectives of the research were 1) to study the levels of influential factors and the innovative levels of educational innovative organization of primary schools under the Office of Basic Education Commission (OBEC), 2) to confirm the developed structural equation model of factors Influencing the educational innovative organization of primary schools under OBEC with empirical data from the survey research, 3) to study how to develop factors influencing the educational innovative organization of primary schools under OBEC. Among the population of 5,962 school administrators and teachers, the 910 samples were selected through the proportional stratified random sampling, based on five parameters, twenty variables, and ten lines of influence. The research instrument consisted of the questionnaire with 0.8982 reliability and the semi-structured interview. The descriptive statistics and reference statistics were utilized. The results were as follows: The analysis of four factors influencing the educational innovative organization was totally found at a high level. Separately considered in the descending order, they were Innovative Behavior (4.45), Innovative Climate (4.43), Innovative Resource Management (4.41) and Innovative Leadership (4.40). A developed structural equation modeling of factors influencing the educational innovative organization of primary schools under OBEC was consistent with the empirical data as follows: χ2 = =105.83, df = 90, P-value = 0.12, χ2/df = 0.18, GFI = 0.99, AGFI = 0.97, CFI = 1.00, RMSEA = 0.01, SRMR = 0.00, NFI = 0.99, and NNFI = 0.99. The educational innovative organization was influenced by the descending order as follows: Innovative Leadership (0.73), Innovative Behavior (0.52), Innovative Resource Management (0.39), and Innovative Climate (0.28). All the four factors were totally able to predict 74% of the educational innovative organization of primary schools under OBEC. The guidelines on development of factors influencing the educational innovative organization of primary schools under OBEC, derived from the perspective of experts and integrated to such administrative principles, concepts and theories as the system approach, the development based on the Deming Cycle (PDCA) and the analysis of current resource management in the organization by SWOT techniques, brought about the model, principles, practices and indicators to assess the four influencing factors influencing the educational innovative organization of primary schools under OBEC.
