Abstract:
The purpose of the study was to investigate the actual conditions, desirable conditions, and healthy school requirements at Large Size School under the Nonthaburi Secondary Educational Service Area Office and present guidelines for promoting healthy schools. This study was a mixed method.
Total sampling revealed a population of 210 instructors and educational staff members. The research instrument consisted of five rating scale questionnaires measuring student, school, environment, family, and societal happiness. In addition, the data were analyzed using percentage, mean, standard deviation, and the Modified Priority Needs Index (PNImodified). The results of the study indicated that
a happy society had the highest PNImodified (PNImodified = 0.597), followed by happy family, happy student, happy school, and happy environment with 0.497, 0.492, 0.483, and 0.388, respectively and that the guidelines for promoting a healthy school consisted of 28 guidelines, which included happy student (5 guidelines), happy school (6 guidelines), happy environment (6 guidelines), happy family
(5 guidelines), and happy society (7 guidelines).
