Abstract:
The aim of this research was to study the composition of powder metallurgy of copper electrodes mixed with titanium nitride and titanium carbonitride powder by adopting copper electrode material. Then, they were subjected to compression testing at appropriate compressive strength at 18, 20, 22 MPa and sintering at 1050, 1100, 1150, 1250 °C for 1 h by studying hardness. electrical resistance density and porosity When the extrusion is obtained, it leads to the sintering of the electrode material. There are many factors involved in baking the electrode material. and can affect the internal microstructure of the electrode material. The structural integrity of the electrode material in different mixtures will have an effect on neck growth due to isthmus density. and strength including electrical conductivity In the process of erosion by electricity is a process that relies on heat. The main heating parameters are current, and the heating is controlled by on, off, and on time. Therefore, it is necessary to study the effect on the performance of the electrode material. The electrode material is tested for density and strength, including electrical conductivity that will be different and measure the efficiency of the process in the form of The removal rate and the wear rate of the electrode material and measure the effect on the work surface in terms of average surface roughness and compare the types of electrode materials and guidelines for selecting the appropriate parameters for the type of electrode material.
