A participatory approach was applied to assess the acceptability in animal health surveillance systems based on the following criteria: (i) the acceptability of the objective(s) of the system, (ii) the satisfaction of the role and the representation of the stakeholders utility in surveillance, (iii) the satisfaction of the consequences of the flow of information, (iv) the satisfaction of the relations between different stakeholders, and (v) the trust in the system to fulfil its objectives. Scoring was made base on the data analysis guideline, diagrams and interview record transcribes. Generally, relations of work environment and information flow are medium, and actors have shown their satisfaction with the system objective, system operation, their own roles within the system and trust among stakeholders. Regarding impact, positive and negative consequences that participants listed were very much about public concerns rather than about their interest.
