Abstract: งานวิจัยนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อศึกษากลวิธีทางภาษาและแนวคิดการดำเนินชีวิตในประชุม โคลงสุภาษิตในพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ข้อมูลที่ใช้ในการวิจัย คือ หนังสือชุดวรรณกรรมภาษิตและคำสอน ประชุมโคลงสุภาษิตในพระบาทสมเด็จพระจุลจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว ผู้วิจัยได้ใช้วิธีการวิจัยเอกสารและนำเสนอข้อมูลแบบพรรณนา ผลการวิจัยพบว่า 1) กลวิธีการใช้ภาษา ด้านการใช้คำพบการใช้คำทั้งหมด 9 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ คำนามธรรม การซ้ำคำ คำที่มีความหมายใกล้กัน คำมีศักดิ คำที่มีความหมายตรงกันข้าม การหลากคำ คำซ้ำ คำรูปธรรม คำต่ำ โดยพบการใช้คำนามธรรมมากที่สุด รองลงมาได้แก่ การซ้ำคำ ด้านกลวิธีการใช้ภาพพจน์ พบการใช้ภาพพจน์ทั้งหมด 11 ลักษณะ ได้แก่ อุปมา สัมพจนัย อุปมานิทัศน์ อุปลักษณ์ ปฏิปุจฉา แนวเทียบ อติพจน์ การอ้างถึง ปฏิทรรศน์ อวพจน์ และ อาวัตพากย์ โดยพบการใช้อุปมามากที่สุด รองลงมาได้แก่ อุปมานิทัศน์ 2) แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับ การดำเนินชีวิต พบแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการศึกษา แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการทำงานและการประกอบอาชีพ แนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการครองเรือน และแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับชีวิตประจำวัน โดยพบแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับ ชีวิตประจำวันมากที่สุด และพบแนวคิดเกี่ยวกับการทำงานและการประกอบอาชีพรองลงมา This research aims to study linguistic techniques and life values in King Rama V’s poems and proverbs The research reference is mainly based on a book of Literary Proverbs and Sayings, Thai proverbs in the form of didactic poetry by King Rama V. The research methodology relies on documentary research and is descriptively presented. The results revealed that: 1) In terms of language use, there are 9 types of use of words including the use of abstract, reiteration, similar meaning words, work rank, antonym, synonym, repetition, concrete, and low ranking word. Of all the word usage, reiteration is the second only to abstract words in terms of most frequent langue usage. For the use of figurative language, there are 11 types of figurative use as follows: simile, synecdoche, allegory, metaphor, rhetorical question, analogy, hyperbole, allusion, paradox, meiosis and synesthesia, respectively. The most frequent use of figurative speech was simile followed by allegory. 2) Through the concept of life value, it explains the value of education, work and occupation, marriage life and a daily life. The most common represented idea through poetry is daily life and followed by work and occupation.
