A Review of the Research on Phonetic Teaching in International Chinese Education from 1987 to 2022
Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to collect related literature on international Chinese phonetic teaching in international Chinese education from 1987 to 2022, to summarize and sort them by using the systematic literature review method, and to analyze the research status and the trend of international Chinese phonetic teaching development through the content analysis. The following conclusions were as follows:
From the analysis of the collection of literature related to the teaching of pronunciation in international Chinese education from 1987 to 2022 and the systematic literature analysis to summarize and organize the teaching content, it was found that the focus of the research on phonetic teaching in international Chinese education was mainly reflected in initial consonants, vowels, tones, and intonation. While, the
teaching of soft words and the teaching of children's rhyme were not found in a complete system. The research on the implementation of teaching methods and the variety of research results fully showed the principle of more practice; The research on teaching tools focused on the advantages and disadvantages of the use of tools, and the survey of the scheme to increase the efficiency of the teaching content.
Through the collection and analysis of literature, it was found that after 2010, with the growth of the Chinese language industry, the research on phonetics teaching in minority language countries sprung up, and more and more specific research on phonetic teaching of Chinese increased in the country to support students learning Chinese in various countries and regions. This paper studied the important and difficult points and the errors in the phonetic learning process of students in different countries or regions. Secondly, with the continuous progress and deepening of teaching, the teaching methods of international Chinese education phonetics teaching constantly improved, and many scholars have explored new teaching methods, showing a diversified development trend. In terms of phonetic teaching tools, with the
development of science and technology, new teaching tools were introduced, and teachers could not only adopt the "Chinese Pinyin Scheme", but also the appearance of phonetic software could support teachers with a variety of choices, showing a trend of technological development.
