Abstract: The purpose of this research is to analyze the heat transfer of combustion chamber in. a coke oven. A coke oven can be divided into four parts, including the regenerator, combustion chamber, heating wall, and coking chamber. The regenerator is used to heat air and fuel before entering combustion chamber. In the combustion chamber, fuel and air burn to generate hot gases, providing thermal energy to convert coal to coke. Heat transfer occurs from hot gases to the heating wall, and then from the heating wall to coking chamber. In this research, the K.K. type coke oven was analyzed with CFD to calculate the heat transfer inside the combustion chamber.
