Abstract:
This research aims to study as followed: 1.The current state of public relations and image of Banpong Community Development District Office, Ratchaburi Province. 2. Building Guidelines for public relations toward improving image of Banpong Community Development District Office,and evaluation. The research method consists of 2 major steps: 1) Study the current state of public relations. 2) Study from specialists opinions on public relations to enhance the image of Banpong Community Development District Office,and evaluate.The tools used in this research were questionnaire, structured questionnaire, practicable form of public relations and evaluation form of practicable public relations. Statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and frequency. The research shows : 1. The sample had opinions about the public relations condition and the image of Banpong Community Development District Office. It was found that the implementation of the objectives had the highest score (x̄= 4.00,S.D.=0.77), followed by management(x̄ = 3.89, SD = 0.86) and image (x̄ = 3.46, SD = 0.70) respectively. 2. From the results of interviews on experts of public relations, it was found that the practicable public relations guidlines was that the organization had to plan communication in the right way and publicize by using knowledge management to create concept and application of tools modernly. 3. Guidlines for Public relations to enhance the image of Banpong Community Development District Office consists of 6 elements. 1) Chief of Community Development District Office. 2) Officer of Community Development District Office 3) Service mind 4) Policy of Organization 5) Tools. 5 procedures. 1) Study the problem, obstacle, need and condition of public relations. 2) Encourage practicable operation of Banpong Community Development District Office as higher as it could be. 3) Create a brand of organization. 4) Develop cooperative public relations procedure. 5) Evaluate, the result of public relations practicability evaluation by public relations experts shows that developed form is practicable.
