Abstract:
The objectives of this research were to study components, create a model, and evaluate and affirm an Upright School Management Model for the primary schools under the Office of the Basic Education Commission. The data of this mixed method research were collected from 508 samples in 127 upright schools. The research instruments were 1) structured interview form, 2) questionnaire (with reliability at 0.84), and 3) evaluation form. The data were collected in 2019, and then analyzed by frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, confirmatory factor analysis: CFA by using statistical package, and content analysis. The results of the research found that: 1) The components of Upright School Management of the primary school administrators under Office of the Basic Education Commission were composed of 3 main components and 11 sub-components. 2) The model of the Upright School Management for the primary school administrators under the Office of the Basic Education Commission was called SPG Model. It was the integrative model based on the concept of upright school standard, PIE Cycle School Administration Principles, and Good Conduct Principles. The structure of component relation in upright school administration consisted of 3 main components and 11 minor components. The component weight values in descending order started with Upright School standard, followed by PIE Cycle School Administration, and Good Conduct Principles. 3) The evaluation and affirmation results of the moral school management model for upright school administration of primary school administrators in propriety, accuracy, feasibility and utility were at 4.80 level overall that was higher than the evaluation criteria. The model was approved by the experts.
