Abstract:
The purpose of this study was to create an interpreted version of the Bassoon Concerto in B-flat major, K.191 by W.A. Mozart using the note grouping method. The note grouping method mainly focuses on creating the forward motion by regrouping the notes based on the arsis-thesis pattern. This study was divided into three parts: 1) selected three principles based on note grouping that was appropriate to the selected piece, 2) analyzed the Bassoon Concerto in B-flat major, K.191 by W.A. Mozart, and 3) applied the three principles to the piece. The research could be beneficial to various music-related groups. For instance, music students could use this research as a guideline to apply to other music. Also, this research could be useful for music teachers as a teaching tool and the interpreted version of Bassoon Concerto in B-flat major, K.191 by W.A. Mozart could be an example in the lesson. This research could also stimulate interest for further research into the subject of interpretation
