The development of Thai hanging adornment Instructional media on the topic of small elephant-faced nets made from beads for upper elementary school students, Rajabopit School
Abstract:
The research aimed 1) to measure the efficiency of Thai hanging adornment instructional media on the topic of small elephant-faced nets made from beads for upper elementary school students, Rajabopit School Rajabopit School, 2) to evaluate the appropriateness and usability of Thai hanging adornment instructional media on the topic of small elephant-faced nets made from beads for upper elementary school students, Rajabopit School Rajabopit School, and 3) to study students satisfaction towards Thai hanging adornment instruction media on the topic of small elephant-faced nets made from beads for upper elementary school students, Rajabopit School. The sample in the research was 24 upper elementary school students in Prathom 6/1, who were studying in the first semester of the academic year 2023 in the subject of Handicrafts, Career Learning Subject Group at Rajabopit School. Research instruments used were instructional media, performance test, suitability assessment form, usefulness of teaching media, and satisfaction questionnaires. Statistics used in data analysis were the E1/ E2 efficiency criterion, mean, and standard deviation.
The results found that 1) the efficiency of the instructional media was higher than the determined criterion, the result of the assessment conducted by the teacher during the learning ( E1) was 87. 21 and the result of the assessment conducted by the teacher after the learning process ( E2) was 90. 17. It can be concluded that the efficiency of the instructional media had the efficiency criterion of 80/8. It can be used as the instructional media for upper elementary students of Rajabopit School, 2) the assessment of overall appropriateness by experts indicated that the appropriateness of the instructional media was at a high level (µ = 4. 27, = 0.655) and overall usability was at a high level (µ = 4.40, = 0.575), and 3) students were satisfied with the instructional media at a high level ( X̅= 4.41, S.D. = 0.768). In terms of considering each aspect in descending order, the aspect with the highest mean was content ( X̅= 4.51, S.D. = 0.624), followed by benefits of the instructional media ( X̅= 4.43, S.D. = 0.822), and the aspect with the lowest mean was the instructional media ( X̅= 4.31, S.D. = 0.876). To sum up, the students were overall satisfied with the instructional media at a high level.
