Desirable characteristics of school administrators according to the expectation of teachers, Phachi Saranrom group, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya primary educational service area office 1
Abstract:
This research aims to study and compare desirable characteristics of school
administrators, Phachi Saranrom Group, Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Primary Educational
Service Area Office 1. The samples consisted of 124 teachers. The instrument used for data
collection was a questionnaire. The statistics used to analyze the data were percentage,
mean, and Standard Deviation.
The finding revealed that;
Desirable characteristics of the school administrators as teachers expectation
consist of 5 aspects: 1) Personality, 2) Moral and Ethical, 3) Knowledge and competence, 4)
Human relation, and 5) Leadership. All 5 aspects were at the highest level.
The results of the comparison of the level of desirable characteristics of the school
administrators as teachers expectation in Phachee Saranrom Group, Phra Nakhon Si
Ayutthaya Primary Educational Service Area Office 1 classified by work experience and
gender found that in overall and each aspect were not different, classified by educational
level found that in overall and each aspect had no significant difference, except, personality
and leadership aspects had significant difference at the .05 level, classified by age in
overall and each aspect had no significant difference, except, human relation had
significant difference at .05 level.
