Abstract:
This research is a mixed method research between qualitative method and qualitative
method. The qualitative information was from 5in-depth interview of either academicians or owners
of the schools for empowering children by music programs in Bangkok, Thailand. In respect of the
quantitative information, the participants of questionnaires were 400 parents who interest in schools
for empowering children by music programs in Bangkok, Thailand, provided that the numbers of
those participants were indicated from probability sampling by using the Table of Taro Yamane
(1973). In this thesis, the researcher used One-way ANOVA technique, the Service Marketing Mix
(7 Ps) theory, to do Hypothesis Testing. Then, analyzed that information by using Frequencies
Distribution, Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation. Lastly, finding the key factor to determine
strategy by factor analysis.
As a result, the strategy for the school for empowering children by music program in
Bangkok called SHINE which comprises of 1) Staffs are Skillful: due to music teachers play
significant role in the school for empowering children by music program, the school should
employ qualified music teachers who are high expertise both in academic and practice, 2) Honest
school: the school should reach qualification standards as follows; (a) facilities such as parking lot
and lounge for parents,(b) reliability, (c) safe and clean, and (e) worthiness. 3) Involvement of
Parents: parents are able to participate in the schools activities to support the development of
their children, 4) Various Publicity: using several channel for public relation, including social
medias, to make people getting know the school, and 5) Emphasized Musical Activities: unlike
general music school that music is used as a part of childrens activities, the school use music as a
main instrument to improve potentiality of children.
