Abstract: This doctoral research project is the presentation of the social concepts with indicators for the research works that are art creation projects. The topic of this research project is the 'Creation of a Contemporary Superhero Character Inspired by Lanna Art and Culture'. The main objective of this research project is to present concepts and ways of thinking in Lanna Society in which Superhero Contents are also compositions. The creation concept is to combine the superhero character with identities of Lanna in order to attain the unique identities that can be publicized within the space of Lanna in order to determine the main social concepts and the qualitative evaluation of art works. The significant variables are the locals' opinions, ages, areas, culture and all current social compositions. There have been data collection. experiments. analyses. syntheses and evaluation for the art exhibitions that have been held 3 times in different styles and spaces in order to get the manifested results that are the new behaviors of nowadays people in different areas. The findings from the study reveal that Superhero Contents in Lanna are newly created by people in the society rather than the artist. The contents are reflected in semi-abstract art forms that are based on way of life, culture and beliefs of people in the society such as the faith in supernatural things, the belief in ghosts and religions, as well as the behavioral expressions that are based on ideas of people in the modern era, who have high levels of freedom for their thinking and actions, which lead to the creations and invention of new things and issues without any limit. Apart from social concepts and ideas, the creating of contemporary art works leads to new styles of contemporary works. As for this project, the new work is the Superhero of Lanna that will enable the art society to extend the ideas and works that are related to contemporary art and culture in the future.

Abstract: ดุษฎีนิพนธ์ฉบับนี้เป็นการนำเสนอแนวคิดเชิงสังคมที่มีเครื่องมือในการชี้วัดในด้านการวิจัยจากการสร้างสรรค์งานศิลปะ มีชื่อหัวข้อ คือ การสร้างสรรค์ตัวละครร่วมสมัยในรูปแบบซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่ที่ได้รับแรงบันดาลใจ จากศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมล้านนา มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อนำเสนอประเด็นแนวคิดในสังคมล้านนาสมัยใหม่ ที่มีบริบทซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่เข้ามาเป็นส่วนประกอบทางสังคม โดยใช้วิธีการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะตัวละครซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่ที่ผสมผสานกับเอกลักษณ์ของล้านนา ทำให้เกิดอัตลักษณ์เฉพาะมาเผยแพร่ต่อผู้คนในสังคมในพื้นที่ล้านนา เพื่อหาประเด็นแนวคิดที่สำคัญทางสังคมรวมถึงการวัดผลเชิงคุณภาพของงานศิลปะอีกด้วย โดยตัวแปรที่สำคัญคือ แนวคิดของผู้คน อายุ พื้นที่ วัฒนธรรม และ องค์ประกอบทางสังคมต่างๆ ในปัจจุบันโดยมีการเก็บข้อมูล ทดลอง วิเคราะห์ สังเคราะห์ และประเมินผลจากการแสดงผลงานทางศิลปะจำนวน 3 ครั้ง ในรูปแบบใหม่ ๆ ในพื้นที่ที่แตกต่างกัน เพื่อเกิดผลสะท้อนออกมาให้เห็นเป็นพฤติกรรมที่เกิดขึ้นใหม่จากคนในยุคปัจจุบันในแต่ละพื้นที่ ผลการศึกษาพบว่า บริบทซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่ในล้านนานั้น ถูกสร้างขึ้นใหม่จากผู้คนในสังคมมากกว่าผู้สร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ โดยแสดงออกมาในรูปแบบบศิลปะกึ่งนามธรรม อันมีพื้นฐานมาจากวิถีชีวิต วัฒนธรรม ความเชื่อต่างๆ ของคนในสังคม อาทิ การนับถือสิ่งศักดิ์สิทธิ์ ความเชื่อในเรื่องภูตผี และศาสนา รวมไปถึงการแสดงออกทางพฤติกรรมจากแนวคิดของผู้คนในยุคหลังสมัยใหม่ ที่มีความเป็นอิสระทางความคิดและการกระทำสูง ทำให้เกิดการสร้างสรรค์ใหม่ๆ ประเด็นแนวคิดใหม่ๆ ไม่สิ้นสุด นอกจากแนวคิดทางสังคมแล้ว ในด้านการสร้างสรรค์ผลงานศิลปะ ในรูปแบบร่วมสมัย ยังทำให้เกิดผลงานศิลปะแบบร่วมสมัยในแบบใหม่ ในที่นี้คือ ซุปเปอร์ฮีโร่แห่งล้านนา ที่ทำให้วงการศิลปะจะสามารถต่อยอดในด้านศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมแบบร่วมสมัยต่อไป
