A model of organizational performance enhancement using digital characteristics and capabilities
Abstract:
This research focuses on developing a
framework for enhancing organizational
performance with digital skills and capabilities.
The objectives of the research are to analyze
the factors affecting organizational performance
with digital skills and abilities and to develop a
framework for enhancing organizational
performance. The researcher used quantitative
research techniques, mainly using survey
research techniques and model development
research techniques like Structural Equation
Model (SEM) to establish causal relationships
between the factors affecting organizational
performance with digital skills and capabilities.
The researcher also collected additional
qualitative data using in-depth interviews with
the target group to supplement the research
findings.
The factors that affect organizational
performance with digital skills and capabilities
were identified as leadership change, IT
competence, digital leadership, transaction
leadership, dynamic competence, knowledge
management, innovation management, and
innovation capability. The dependent variables
were identified as the organization's efficiency,
growth, profitability, return, and business
confidence. The developed model was
compared with empirical data using the
Harmony Index (GFI), Adjusted Harmony Index
(AGFI), and the Root Mean Square Residual
(RMR) index, and the results indicated a high
level of harmoniousness between the
developed model and the empirical data.
The research findings can be applied to the
model of factors affecting the performance of
organizations with digital skills and capabilities
for further use. The framework developed in this
research can help organizations enhance their
performance by identifying and improving the
factors that affect their digital skills and
capabilities. Overall, this research contributes to
the understanding of the importance of digital
skills and capabilities in organizational
performance and provides a practical framework
for organizations to enhance their performance
in this area.
