Abstract:
The purpose of this research is to present a model of digital competency development to promote learning management for private school administrators. The research was conducted in three steps as follows. First, study the elements and guidelines of digital competencies development to promote learning management for private school administrators from analysis of relevant documents, questionnaires, and interview the experts. The data were analyses by content analysis, mean, standard deviation and confirmatory factor analysis. Second, constructing and examining the propriety of the model through focus group discussion. The data was analyses by mean, standard deviation and content analysis. Third, evaluating the model through questionnaires. The data were analyses by mean and standard deviation. The research showed that the model of digital competency to promote learning management development for private school administrators consisted of five components: 1) the principles, 2) the objectives, 3) the scope of digital competency elements, 4) the digital competency development guidelines, and 5) key success factors. The result of the propriety assessment of the model indicated by the experts was at the highest level. The result of the feasibility assessment by the private school administrators was at a high level, while the utility assessment was considered at the highest level.
