Abstract:
This research aims to 1) study the use of information and communication technology in basic educational institution administration. Under the Office of the Secondary Education Service Area 29 2) Comparison of opinions on the use of information technology and communication in basic educational institution administration. Under the Office of the Secondary Educational Service Area 29, classified by position Work experience and school size; and 3) study problems and suggestions on the use of information and communication technology in basic educational institution administration. The Shamble of this research consisted of 114 school administrators and teachers responsible for information work. The instrument used in this research was a 5-level questionnaire with the belief of The whole questionnaire was .98, the statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t-test, and F-test.
The research findings were as follows.
1. The use of information and communication technology in basic educational institution administration under the Office of the Secondary Educational Service Area 29, is overall at a high level.
2. The comparison of opinions between the school administrators and the teachers in tasks of using the information and communication technology, classified by position, work experience and school size overall and each aspect was no different.
3. Problems and suggestions : 1) the data and Information storage problem; is that the school lack of personnel with knowledge in information technology works, less information and its discontinuous operation, not enough storage space.The suggestion are that administrators should allocate the knowledgeable and capabilities persons, organizing continuous training, and the government should provide institutions a large data storage space. 2) Internet and communication problem, the problem is that the school has used less useful as it should in the information and communication technology, unstable internet network signal and inadequate. The suggestion is that administrators should focus on the highest useful of information and communication technology functions, and the government should provide the high-speed Internet networks. 3) In term of learning management, the school problems are lack of the educational technology materials and computers as the number of learners and the online communication tools for some students. The suggestion is the administrators has to be a facilitator of media supply. Due to enable teachers and school personnel to effectively and useful teaching, and also to support the teachers abilities by using the information technology as a learning management tool.
