The implementation of student care and support systems on digital era school in the secondary educational service area office Ubon Ratchathani Amnat Charoen
Abstract:
The objectives of the research were to study, to compare, and to provide guidelines for developing performance conditions of student care and help systems in the schools in the digital era under the Secondary Education Office Service Area in Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen. The samples were school administrators and teachers in the basic educational schools under the Secondary Education Office Service Area in Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen in the academic year of 2021 in a total of 432 people consisting of 92 school administrators and 338 teachers. The target group used to do the depth interview consisted of school administrators or teachers responding for the student care and help systems in a total of 3 people. They were selected by purposive sampling. The research instrument was a questionnaire with a five-rating scale and the reliability of 0.99. The statistics used in the research were percentage, mean, standard deviation, t- test, and F-test.
The research findings were as follows:
1. The study showed that the performance conditions of the student care and help systems in the schools in the digital era under the Secondary Education Office Service Area in Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen in the overall were at a moderate level.
2. The comparison of the performance conditions of the student care and help systems in the schools in the digital era under the Secondary Education Office Service Area in Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen was as follows. 2.1) The opinions of the school administrators and the teachers classified by the positions were concluded that the performance conditions in the overall were not different. 2.2) The opinions of the school administrators and the teachers classified by the experiences were concluded that the performance conditions in the overall were different with the statistical significance at the level of .01. 2.3) The opinions of the school administrators and the teachers classified by the school sizes were concluded that the performance conditions in the overall were different with the statistical significance at the level of .01.
3. The guidelines for developing the performance conditions of the student care and help systems in the schools in the digital era under the Secondary Education Office Service Area in Ubon Ratchathani and Amnat Charoen were as follows. 1) In knowing individual students, the training on using technology for student screening should be arranged. 2) In student screening, the training on using technology for student screening should be arranged. 3) In improving and developing students, the data received from the student screening should be used for improving and developing students. 4) In prevention, the data received from the student screening should be used to plan for preventing problems that would occur. 5) In problem solving, the school administrators should cooperate the governors to solve problems together based on the problem-solving forms related to the digital era. 6) In transferring, channels to contact to other organizations should be created to cooperate and transfer in the online forms.
