Abstract:
This study aimed to study the level of self-expression in front of the class, to study personal factors, internal factors, external factors and supporting factors affecting the self-expression in front of the class of Siam University students, and finally to study the pathway to development courage to show in front of the class for Siam University student. Data were collected by using questionnaires in a sample of 252 people. The results were analyzed by statistical distribution of frequency, percentage, mean and standard deviation and t-test, F-test and Multiple Regression.
The results showed that the majority of the study participants were male (55.56%), average age 22.95 years, graduated from government school (69.84), Thai language course (90.48), average monthly income 10,001-20,000 (47.62%), the current level of education is undergraduate (87.70%). The results of assertiveness in front of the class of Siam University students found that the overall level of self-expression in front of the class had a low average score. Internal factors, external factors, and overall supporting factors had a high average score. The results of hypothesis testing showed that Personal factors, internal factors, external factors, supporting factors significantly influenced the self-expression in front of the class of Siam University student at 0.05.
Therefore, Siam University should develop an educational model to promote assertiveness in front of the classroom, encourage students to practice solving problems appropriately and gain greater self-confidence.
