Abstract:
This research aimed to study the development of digital technology of the Bangkok Mass Transit Authority (BMTA) to determine the direction for development of BMTA human resource. The results showed that the development of human resource management in the digital era was divided into two parts: 1) Structural development policies from management should develop digital infrastructure to support digital technology and quality of information and provide a framework for skill development, training plans that focus on education, recruitment, selection and the development of high potential personnel to have continued learning opportunities; 2) technological development, participatory management and operations of information technology are used in all processes. Information technology needs to be implemented in all processes and management should communicate with their personnel to create a positive attitude towards it. Concerning the users, they need to be aware of the benefits, understand how to use it properly, and over time it becomes easier to use. Through practice, work becomes more efficient because it is linked to other work systems. The problems encountered with the new system is that it can be complicated, insufficient access, and some users lack skills to use the technology. Users have further suggested that there should be proper training, provide enough technical assistance, and a clear user manual to raise performance.
