Abstract:
The objectives of this research are as follows: to study the conditions and strategies for reducing educational disparities in schools in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, under the jurisdiction of the Basic Education Committee, with the sample group consisting of school directors, deputy school directors, teachers, and educational personnel in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, under the jurisdiction of the Basic Education Committee, totaling 235 people. The data collection tool used is a questionnaire with an IOC value between 0.67-1.00, a questionnaire reliability value of 0.97, and a semi-structured interview. Statistical analysis methods used include percentages, means, and standard deviations. The research findings are as follows: The overall condition of educational disparities in schools in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, is significantly high. The areas of educational disparities, ranked from highest to lowest, are as follows: teacher standards, quality of teaching management, students, school facilities, family income and assets, and family residence. Strategies for reducing educational disparities in schools in Mae Sai District, Chiang Rai Province, should include planning student enrollment within the school's service area, home visits to students to identify problems and understand the living conditions of the target students, cooperation between schools and communities to create strong communities, and promotion of supplementary vocational skills for parents by relevant organizations.
