Abstract:
The objectives of this research article were 1) to study the condition of the educational environment of educational institution under the Surat Thani Provincial Office of the non-formal and informal education, 2) to create the management strategies toward learning organizations of educational institution under the Surat Thani Provincial Office of the non-formal and informal education and 3) to present the management strategies toward learning organizations of educational institution under the Surat Thani Provincial Office of the non-formal and informal education. This qualitative research was collected data by using in-depth interviews with 15 involved persons about the management condition, 9experts in strategies creation and 7experts by using focus group discussion. Research instruments used in the research were an in-depth interview, an intrinsic and extrinsic factor analysis form. Data analysis used were content analysis, intrinsic and extrinsic environment analysis
The result of the study found that;
1) the condition of the educational environment of the educational institutions under the Surat Thani Provincial Office of the non-formal and informal education has strengths in terms of structure and policy because it has a strong management structure and policies that are related to management or work operations. Moreover, there are social and cultural opportunities that help develop educational institutions into learning organizations.
2) Management strategies toward learning organization of Educational Institution under the Surat Thani Provincial Office of the Non-formal and informal education consisted of (1) vision, (2) mission, (3) goal and (4) strategy. In addition, there are some sub components namely, measures, indicators of success, targets, projects/activities, and five management strategies toward learning organization are as follows; 1) learning staff development to be learning persons, 2) educational staff institute development to be skillful in educational technology in their work 3) information system development to be up-to-date and ready to use, 4) educational institutions encouragement to have modern technology and it should be ready to use educational technology tools, 5) educational institutions staff encouragement to have vision, pattern of thinking, and team working.
3) The experts examined the management strategies toward learning organization of Educational Institution under the Surat Thani Provincial Office of the Non-formal and informal education, and revealed that it is appropriate, possible and useful.
