Abstract:
The propose this research as following; 1) 1) to study the school-based administration.
in a school in the Thawi Watthana district office 2) To study the guidelines and
recommendations for the development of school-based management. in the Thawi
Watthana District Office under Bangkok After that, the researchers took a simple random
sample divided into different schools. The instrument used for data collection was a 5-level
estimation scale questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.87 and the data were analyzed
with a statistical package. by distribution of frequency, percentage, mean, standard
deviation. This research is a quantitative research. and qualitative (Quantitative Research)
Examples used in this research were educational institute administrators and teachers in
Thawi Watthana district office schools. Under Bangkok, 7 schools, totaling 187 students. The
researcher determined the sample size by opening a ready-made table of Krejcie and
Morgan. After that, the researchers took a simple random sample divided into different
schools. The instrument used for data collection was a 5-level estimation scale
questionnaire with a confidence value of 0.87 and the data were analyzed with a statistical
package. by distribution of frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation.
The results of the research found that 1) the level of practice of school-based
administration of schools in the Thawi Watthana District Office under Bangkok Overall, the
practice was at a high level ( = 4.38). Considering each aspect, it was found that the aspect
with the highest average was the reinstatement of education management ( = 4.42),
followed by the self-management aspect ( = 4.41). In terms of participation ( = 4.38) and
decentralization ( = 4.36), the aspect with the lowest mean was checks and balances ( =
4.33).and 2) recommendations for the development of school-based management. in the
Thawi Watthana District Office under Bangkok are as follows: (1) Decentralization The
administrators should encourage educational institutions to have independence in
supervision, monitoring and academic supervision to seriously and continuously improve the
quality of teaching and learning, with a frequency of 35 or 30.43 percent. (2) participation
Administrators should encourage educational institutions to allow learners to participate in
the learning process. The frequency was 41 , representing 3 5 .6 5 %. (3) Reinstatement of
educational management powers. Administrators should find guidelines for educational
institutions to listen to their opinions. and recommendations on the establishment and
budget expenditure. as well as procuring income from educational institutions' assets from the Board of Education The frequency was 18, accounting for 15.65%.(4) Self-management
development The administrators should conduct a survey of their own conditions in order
to know the strengths and points that must be considered for the goals of the educational
institutions. The frequency was 1 1 , representing 9 .5 7 percent. (5) Checks and balances.
Administrators should encourage educational institutions to report the results of educational
management to the public. It is an expression of transparency by giving people the
opportunity to check. The frequency was 10, accounting for 8.70 percent.
from this research Executives can use it as a guideline for improvement. Support and
promote guidelines for the development of school administration as the school base in the
Thawi Watthana District Office under Bangkok This will result in efficiency and effectiveness
in academic administration contributing to the improvement of the quality of education
