Abstract:
The objectives of this research are: 1) to study characteristics of school administrators under the National Strategy, 2) to develop schools under the National Strategy according to the Threefold Training principles, and 3) to propose the development of school administration under the National Strategy according to the Threefold Training principles for schools under Khlong Sam Wa District Office in Bangkok. The mixed research methods were used in the study. The quantitative data were collected by questionnaires from 234 samples and analyzed by mean, standard deviation and Priority Needs Index. The qualitative data were collected by in-depth interviews with 5 experts by using semi-structure interview form and then analyzed by content analysis.
The results of the study found that:
1. In the characteristics of school administrators under the National Strategy, the opinion towards school administration under the National Strategy according to the Threefold Training principles was at a high level overall.
2. The results of development of schools under the National Strategy according to the Threefold Training principles indicated that: 1) the school administrators set plans and provide students with guidelines in behaving honest, sincere and anti-corruption, 2) the school administrators implement technology and electronic media in school, 3) the school administrators encourage and support teachers to improve themselves with necessary skills, 4) the school administrators develop digital technology in learning, 5) the school administrators arrange projects for natural and environmental conservation, and 6) the school administrators invite students parents, community and the concerned units to participate in educational quality development.
3. The development of school administration under the National Strategy according to the Threefold Training principles for schools under Khlong Sam Wa District Office in Bangkok indicated that: 1) the school administrators and teachers with different levels of education have different levels of opinion towards school administration under the National Strategy according to the Threefold Training principles with a significantly statistical level at 0.1, and 2) the school administrators with different ages have different levels of opinion towards school administration under the National Strategy.
