Abstract:
The objectives of this research are; 1)to study community learning resources of Ban Takiean temple in Samrongthap sub-district, Samrongthap district, Surin Province, 2) to study the role of temple management as a source of community learning of Phrakhru Upathamvorakhun and 3)to study the success factors of community learning resources of Ban Takiean temple in Samrongthap sub-district, Samrongthap district, Surin province.
The results are as follows: -
Community learning resources are a place where information and knowledge are gathered. Information systems and activities in the community support people in the community to acquire knowledge and learn at their place. The community learning resources of Ban Takiean temple include a place to learn about the lifestyle and culture of the Kui people and the Keal Mor Learning Center of the Kui Ban Takiean people.
The rule of Phrakhru Upathamvorakhun in the administration of Ban Takiean temple as a community learning resource consists of the role of governing the monastery as an abbot, taking good care of the order of the monks in the monastery. The role of education and education in relief Phrakhru Upathamvorakhun has encouraged novices and monks as well as young people to be educated in both the secular cases and the Dharma cases. Phrakhru Upathamvorakhuns missionary role has spread Buddhist principles, developed the Buddhist mind, and spread the culture and traditions of the Kui people to the wider public, making Ban Takiean temple an outstanding source of learning for the Kui community.
The success factor of Phrakhru Upathamvorakhun in developing Ban Takiean temple as a community learning resource due to Phrakhru Upathamvorakhun was a monk in Buddhism, who was good manner and well-known for the Buddhist faith, loving-kindness as well as be a person with serious work habits based on his motto of Made of hand...not Parami (Perfection).
