Relationship between Digital Leadership of School Administrators and Teacher Core Competencies in School under The Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1
Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study the digital leadership of school administrators under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. 2) study the teacher core competencies in the school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. 3) study the relationship between the digital leadership of school administrators and teacher core competencies in the school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1. The sample were 138 public school teachers in academic year 2022 randomly by using the G*Power version 3.1 program, getting them by simple random sampling stratified according to the proportion of each school size. The instrument used to collect data was a questionnaire with a reliability of the entire questionnaire equals to 0.980, the confidence value of the digital leadership of school administrators was 0.969 The confidence value of teachers core competency was .958. The statistics used in data analysis were percentage, mean, standard deviation and Pearsons Correlation Coefficient. The results of the research found that 1) the digital leadership of the school administrators both overall and each aspect was at a high level in descending order of mean were the aspects of being a digital user, creating a learning culture in the digital world, creativity and having a technology vision in digital age 2) teacher core competencies in the school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 results were at a high level in three competencies in descending order of mean as followed: team work performance, good service performance and self -development competency 3) the digital leadership of the school administrators had a high, and relatively high positive correlation with teacher core competencies in the school under the Secondary Educational Service Area Office Bangkok 1 (r=0.827), respectively were creativity (r=0.771), creating a learning culture in the world (r=0.755), having a technology vision in digital age (r=0.720) and digital user (r=0.707) had a statistically significant at the 0.01 level.
