Abstract:
This research aimed to 1) study levels of transformational leadership, marketing orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, service innovation and competitive advantage of the listed Hotel Business in the Stock Exchange of Thailand 2) study the causal relationship of transformational leadership, marketing orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, service innovation and competitive advantage which influenced on competitive advantage of the listed Hotel Business in the Stock Exchange of Thailand and 3) examine the accordance of casual relationship between the antecedents affecting the competitive advantage of the listed Hotel Business in the Stock Exchange of Thailand and empirical data. Data were collected from 279 executives and supervisors of the listed Hotel Business in the Stock Exchange of Thailand by questionnaires as a research instrument. Data were analyzed using a structural equation model (SEM). The antecedents affecting the competitive advantage of the listed hotel business in the Stock Exchange of Thailand consists of 5 factors, including transformational leadership, marketing orientation, entrepreneurial orientation, service innovation and competitive advantage. The results of research showed that the hotel business place the most emphasis on marketing orientation by analyzing market data, plan marketing strategy to meet customer needs resulting in satisfaction in using of service with positive attitude towards brand then lead to brand loyalty, thus it creates a sustainable competitive advantage. While entrepreneurial orientation also influences completive advantage as an important mechanism used in management that reflects the capability of the hotel business.
