Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to study the roles of local government organizations towards excellence in child development centers in Rayong Province. and ways to promote the role of local government organizations towards the excellence of childhood development centers in Rayong Province. The sample group in this research is President of the local government organization Permanent Secretary of the local government organization Director of the Division of Education academician studies and teachers and childhood caregivers. who act in a local administrative organization with a childhood development center in Rayong Province. A quantitative research sample of 260 people, which the sample group was obtained by multi-stage sampling and quantifying the number of samples using Krejcie and Morgan's ratio table and key informants in qualitative research. Number of 15 people by specific selection. The research tools consisted of questionnaires and interview forms. Guidelines for Promoting the Role of Local Administrative Organizations towards the Excellence of Child Development Centers in Rayong Province The data were analyzed using SPSS for windows program to analyze the basic statistics. and content analysis. The results showed that 1. The roles of local government organizations towards excellence in childhood development centers in Rayong Province were found that overall, all 6 roles were at the highest level. The role with the highest average is The role of promoting early childhood development networks was at the highest level, followed by the roles of participation and support at the highest level The role with the least average was Academic roles and curriculum activities at a high level. 2. Guidelines for promoting the role of local government organizations towards excellence in child development centers in Rayong Province, it was found that there were three dimensions, consisting of: Dimension 1: Open and Connectedness Government, which promoted roles as follows 1) Budgeting, administrative, financial and procurement budgets should be established sufficiently for the management of the child development center. and there should be direct recruitment of staff. (2) Academic roles and curriculum activities Organize curriculum and send teachers to attend training The use of modern technology in teaching and learning in modern times. Dimension 2: Citizen Centric: Roles are promoted, i.e. roles in building, place, environment and safety. An environment that is conducive to learning should be provided. The third dimension is Smart and High Performance. Roles are promoted as follows: (1) Personnel and child development center management roles Consistently held meetings to clarify policies of the Child Development Center. There are clear rules, regulations, and rules for the operation of the child development center. (2) participation role and promote Actions should be taken to enable all sectors in society to participate in the care and development of child development centers. (3) The role of promoting early childhood development networks There should be a network for the development of child development centers starting from sub-district, district, provincial and regional levels. To make the Childhood Development Center a source of knowledge exchange in early childhood development. To strengthen the practice of childhood development between heads of childhood development centers childhood care teacher executives and related persons and to provide opportunities for all sectors to continue to participate in early childhood development.
