Research on Improving Gender and Racial Discrimination in Workplace by Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (Dei) of C.H. Robinson Company Based on Transformational Leadership Theory
Abstract:
In recent years, the issue of gender and racial discrimination in the workplace has always been our concern and urgent need to be solved. Based on the theory of transformational leadership, this paper studies these two kinds of discrimination. The purpose of this study is to enable enterprises to fully understand diversity, equity and inclusiveness, realize the powerful role of diversity, equality and inclusiveness in improving gender and racial discrimination, make them interested in joining diversity, equality and inclusive management, practice it, and finally accept diversity, equality and inclusive management and use it for a long time.
Through the review of relevant literature, this paper expounds the theory of transformational leadership and gender and racial discrimination in the workplace; Using the method of case analysis, obtain research information from the official website of enterprises, current affairs news and other channels, and summarize the promoting role of diversity, equality and inclusiveness in improving gender and racial discrimination; Use critical thinking to summarize the relevant literature; Dynamic research was carried out by observation.
Through the observation and research of C.H.Robinson's employee comments, statements issued by managers and the company's business ethics in recent years, it is found that the use of DEI has changed the way employees get along, promoted the equal development of gender and race in the workplace, and employees have more room to play and opportunities to show their talents.
The research found that the diversity, equity and inclusion management of enterprises is conducive to the improvement of gender and racial discrimination in the workplace. At the same time, diversity, equity, and inclusion management can improve the innovation ability of the work team. Diversity, equity, and inclusion e management model is worth learning and using by enterprises.
