Abstract:
The purpose of this research was to increase production and increase the
produce for support customer demand. Preliminary data of the company found that
the problems of the company caused production not enough to demand of
customers. Causing loss of opportunity to make profit s and potentially losing
customers in the future. The reason is due to the preparation of the wire 1 into the
assembly process, which is not equal and making the production process in the next
step stop produce. The method of operation begins with studying the current
conditions and problems in the prepare wiring process. Next, brainstorming using the
fishbone diagram to analyze the cause of the problem. After that, there are 2 ways
to solve the problem, which are 1. Reduce the time of setting up the machine by
using ECRS and 2. Adjust the production planning method. From the production
planning system, FCFS to planning on weekly plan and uses grouping production.
The goal of not reducing the production of wire 1 to 0 percent. After the
improvement, it was found that from March 2019 to February 2020, the company
was able to produce wiring 1 in time in every cycle. The results showed that the
company was able to produce 100% complete and enable the next step of
production to be able to produce on scheduled of customer, can reduce the wasted
costs to 0 baht and can reduce overtime to 4,696 hours. Therefore, can reduce the
value all unnecessary expenses can be reduced by 9,218,910 baht
