Abstract:
This study was designed based on Participatory Action Research and was aimed to 1) develop a model for self-honesty behavior, 2) compare self-honesty behavior of primary school students between before and after the implementation, and 3) compare among different schools as experimental and control group. The group of
participants obtained from students at the fifth grade level which devided into 2 groups for the experimental group with control group, and 60 students for each. Brainstorm, in-depth interview, focus group, content analysis, and situational test with participative observation were selected as the research processing methods, whereas mean (X_), standard
deviation (S.D.), t-test dependent, and t-test independent were used for data analysis. The model was constructed and experimented with same grade students, both from the same schools and the neighboring schools in the same context.

1. The model of self-honesty behavioral development of primary school students using Participatory Action Research (PAR) consisted of essential steps as listed: 1) Build understanding, 2) Construct rules and duty, 3) Concern of behavior, 4) Build value awareness, 5) Build a role model 6) Show the plausible reality.
2. The comparison results of prior and posterior model implementation towards self-honesty of primary school students showed that self-honesty behavior of the students after implementing the developed model was higher than those before the implementation at significance level of .01
3. The comparison results towards self-honesty behavior of primary school students between the experimental group and the control group revealed that the students behavior in experimental group was higher than those in control group at significance level of .01
