Abstract:
The purposes of this research were to (1) compare Chinese speaking skills before and
after using the lesson plan through Total Physical Response (TPR) of Secondary 3 students at
Sisaketwittayalai school in the first semester, academic year 2021. (2) compare learning
achievement before and after using learning plans with TPR. (3) to study the students opinions
towards the instruction through the TPR learning approach. The research sample was 35 ninth
graders at Sisaketwittayalai School. The research instruments used for gathering data were
learning plans with the TPR, Chinese speaking skill test, an achievement test, and a Chinese
speaking Skills assessment from Rubrick, and a questionnaire. The statistical analysis employed
was mean (¯x ), standard deviation (S) and t-test dependent.
The research findings of this research were as follow:
1. The students Chinese speaking skills after using the lesson plans through the TPR
were statistically higher than those before using them at the .01.
2. The students learning achievement after using the TPR to the instruction were
statistically higher than that before using it at the .01.
3. The studentss satisfaction toward the TPR learning was at the highest level.
