Abstract: Emergency Response (ER) knowledge is necessary for reducing and preventing unexpected loss from handling with the emergencies. Accordingly, there are opportunities of damages occurring during the drill and various costs required. Therefore, by applied the immersive learning environment (ILE), the drills can be a safe training environment to the students. Then, the research conducted two topics of study. First, the study of the effects of immersive virtual reality and conventional mobile learning. Another topic is the comparing of game-based immersive virtual reality with formative and summative assessments in emergency response learning. Both studies investigate the effects of each approach toward students’ learning achievement, motivation, and immersion.
