Abstract:
The dissertation objectives are: 1) to study the state of self-administration of school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3, 2) to develop a self-management model according to Gharavasa Dhamma for school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3, and 3) to propose the model of self-management according to Gharavasa Dhamma for school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3. The integrated research process was used in the study. There are three research steps. Step 1, the state of self-administration of school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3, the data were collected by questionnaire from 306 teachers and analyzed by percentage, mean and standard deviation. Step 2: To develop a model by interviewing 10 key-informants by using interview form. And step 3: To propose the model to a group discussion with 8 experts. The data were analyzed by content analysis.
The results of the study found that:
1. The state of self-administration of school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3 was at a high level overall and in aspects in discipline and rule of law, loyalty to the nation, religion and monarch, self-reliance, diligence and responsibility, saving and economy, and the practice of religious virtues.
2. Development of a self-management model according to Gharavasa Dhamma for school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3 consists of: 1) Principle: (1) The school administrators have arts and sciences in their administration integrated with Gharavasa Dhamma principles, (2) State agencies, Ministry of Education and other sectors concerned can implement and apply the model in developing school administration and school administrators. 2) Objective: (1) To be a guideline for school administrators in school administration in the new era, (2) To be a guideline for government sectors, Ministry of Education and the agencies concerned to improve their administration for the sake of unity and collaboration of students, community, society and nation. 3) Administration process: The administration according to the principles of Gharavasa Dhamma; truth and honesty, Taming and training oneself, Tolerance, and Generosity, and 4) Evaluation.
3. The model of self-management according to Gharavasa Dhamma for school administrators under the Office of Phra Nakhon Si Ayutthaya Secondary Education Service Area 3 consists of 4 components: 1) Principle, 2) Objective,
3) Administrative process, and 4) Assessment The SG4 Model obtained from the study is appropriate and feasible to apply for the development of school administrators.
