Abstract:
This research Focus on the presentation of the model of Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) management. By studying the current problems And propose a development model and approach by applying Buddhist principles In order to benefit driving the management of vocational education With a focus on leaders, teachers, students, management processes Respond to changes within the context of Disruptive Technology. Using mixed method research. Quantitative data the sample group was 430 teachers under the Office of the Vocational Education Commission. Qualitative data were obtained from 1) in-depth interviews with 13 experts 2) focus group with 9 experts.
Model Development has 2 steps: 1) pattern construction and 2) pattern validation. The Buddhist management model consists of 4 components according to System Theory: Input, Process, Output and Feedback as follows.
Context: The Disruptive technology era has changed dramatically and rapidly. Educational institutions must adapt to keep pace with this change.
Input: TVET must be adapted by digital transformation (Ubiquitous computing, Collaboration technologies, extended reality technologies, AI and Blockchain) to be integrated into the teaching.
Provide a learner-based education, everyone has access to Lifelong Learning.
Process: consists of 4 activities: 1) Buddhist administration 2) Instruction: Instructor - as the center of the coach, Learners - create self-study ideas, Activities - focus on ways to think, work together, and media / content - with open educational resources 3) Internship - Bilateral System, Cooperative education system, and training in the factory and 4) teacher skills
Output: Student skills include 1) digital transformation skills 2) Soft skills, namely problem solving skills and 4C's skills.
Feedback: consists of 1) internal quality assessment 2) research on compliance with labor market needs 3) research student internship assessment.
The results of the pattern integrity check by a focus group of experts. Found that the educational management model conforms to system theory, it can be used as a real tool for human and social development and having a direction appropriate to the Disruptive Technology era
