Abstract:
The objectives of this research were: 1) to analyze the components of Buddhist transformational leadership for private school administrators; 2) to develop the Buddhist transformational leadership model for private school administrators; 3) to evaluate the Buddhist transformational leadership model for private school administrators. The research steps were as follows: Step 1: analyze the components of Buddhist transformational leadership for private school administrators by studying documents, interviewing 12 experts, and collecting data from 552 samples. The tools used in this process were: an interview form and a questionnaire with a reliability value of 0.99. The statistics used were: Percentage, Mean, Standard Deviation, and Exploratory Component Analysis. Step 2: develop the Buddhist transformational leadership model for private school administrators by organizing a seminar of 10 experts. The tools used are a draft Buddhist transformational leadership model for private school administrators and seminar expert reference documents. Step 3: evaluate the Buddhist transformational leadership model of nine private school administrators selected by purposive sampling; the data collection tool was a model assessment. The statistics used in the data analysis were: Percentage, Mean, and Standard Deviation.
The research results were as follows:
1) The components of Buddhist transformational leadership for private school administrators consisted of 6 components: (1) creating a mediation with potential according to the Seven Sappurisa Dhammas, 20 variables; (2) using emotional intelligence according to the Seven Sappurisa Dhammas, 24 variables; (3) inspiration according to the Seven Sappurisa Dhammas, 22 variables; (4) consideration of individuality according to the Seven Sappurisa Dhammas, 20 variables; (5) stimulation of wisdom application according to the Seven Sappurisa Dhammas consists, 11 variables; (6) ideological use of influence according to the Seven Sappurisa Dhammas, 12 variables.
2) The Buddhist transformational leadership model for private school administrators consisted of three parts: Part 1 Leadership; Part 2 Content including the models components; Part 3 Success conditions.
3) Based on the evaluation results of the Buddhist transformational leadership model for private school administrators, the experts consistently believed that the model was valid, appropriate, feasible, and useful. Overall, it was at the highest level in all aspects.
