Abstract:
This thesis is of three specific objectives: 1) to carefully examine the context and activities as well as the process of the OTOP Innov-Life Tourism of Nong Majub Village, Mae Faek Sub district, Sansai District, Chiang Mai Province, 2) to explore factors affecting the development of tourism in Nong Majub Village Community, Mae Faek Sub district, Sansai District, Chiang Mai Province and 3) to analyze of the model of tourism development and community development of Ban Nong Majub, Mae Faek Subdistrict, Sansai District, Chiang Mai Province. This research was conducted by a qualitative research method by using in-depth interviews and group discussions with 20 key informants.
The results revealed the community had a broad range of community products, including agricultural and natural materials, household goods, natural attractions, cultural attractions and community markets, community cycling routes with the Board of Directors responsible for managing the Innov-Life Tourism Project.
Factors affecting community tourism development remain internal factors including community harmony, village funds, occupational building and processed agricultural products. External factors include government agencies, local authorities and academic institutions, funding, knowledge and official relations that resulted in the project being awarded to sufficiency villages at the district level.
Tourism Development Model with Ban Nong Ma Chap Community Development Chiang Mai province found that the three principles of the OVOP process are as follows:
1. The local wisdom to the international level is the use of local wisdom and culture to produce a unique product, tangible product manufacturing, market management and goods to promote unity in goods and travel services.
2. The Self-reliance and creative thinking represent the development of creative unique entrepreneurs (SMEs) using online media, community integration, community fund development to make a difference to goods and travel services.
3. Human Resource Development is the development of excellent skills and knowledge in community tourism, the presence of community training and professional development units, knowledge management (KM) by the community through the cooperation of all parties.
