Abstract:
The objectives of research are; to study the social welfare management according to Buddhism in Phetchabun Province. To develop social welfare activities according to the Buddhist concept of temples in Phetchabun Province. To propose the social welfare model in accordance with the Buddhism concept of temples in Phetchabun Province.
This research is qualitative (Qualitative Research) by collecting data from interviews which interviewed two target groups, namely; 1) representativesof the temples in the community. 2) A total of 30 people in the community per person. The study results were presented using descriptive and analytical methods from interviews.The research results were found that social welfare management according to Buddhism in Phetchabun Province. It is the duty of the government by the cooperation of the temple and the community to follow the policy principles, including; 1) providing welfare for the people in the temple, including monks - novices, worshipers, worshipers, 8 pilgrims. 2) Participation in activities of the temple with the community of the temple regarding social welfare arrangements. 3) There is a development of cooperation in group collaboration activities between the temple, the community and government agencies that help.
The participation of temples and communities in social welfare Arrangements in accordance with Buddhism Phetchabun Province. There are 3 guidelines: 1) Guidelines for social welfare providing assistance to the monks and villagers. 2) Guidelines for promoting the organization of social activities to create social welfare for temples and communities. 3) Guidelines for the development of activities that cause social welfare to occur at provincial and cultural organizations.
The patterns of temple and community participation in social welfare arrangements were: 1) providing knowledge on social welfare to the monks and the community. 2) Arrangement of activities together with the blessing and community. It is a process for people to be involved in the management of operations and evolve into a continuous process to promote participation. It is necessary to focus on sequence and procedure and connectivity. 3) Networking for organizing social welfare activities by setting guidelines for the network to measure and the community acts to a limited extent. Focus on the process of action with scope and limited regulations.
