Abstract:
The research entitled Social Studies Teaching According to Iddhipāda for the 4th Elementary School Students at Wat Amarintraram School, Bangkok consisted of the following objectives: 1) to study the teaching and learning of social studies according to Iddhipāda of the 4th elementary school students; 2) to compare the level of opinions on the promotion of teaching and learning efficiency according to Iddhipāda of the 4th elementary school students; and 3) to propose the guidelines for teaching and learning efficiency. The research instruments were the lesson plan, pretest, and posttest. A population consisted of 40 students from the 4th elementary school by means of purposive sampling.
The results of the research are found as follows:
1) From experimenting the learning activities on Iddhipāda with the 4th elementary school students of Wat Amarintraram School in Bangkok, the efficiency found is at 91.70/ 93.70 which is higher than the 80/80 criterion standard.
2) From experimenting the learning activities on Iddhipāda with the 4th elementary school students of Wat Amarintraram School in Bangkok, it is found that the learning achievement of students is higher by which the pretest is equal to 𝑥̅ = 21 and posttest is at 𝑥̅ = 35 with a statistical significance at 0.05. The percentage of posttest is equal to 93.70 which is higher than the expected criteria.
3) The suggestion from the study is that the various models along with the comparative study of the teaching and learning arrangement based on Iddhipāda should also be integrated with other subjects
