Abstract:
The study entitled The Development of Learning Achievement in the Subject of Buddhism by Organizing Learning Activity based on Iddhipāda for the 6th Primary School Students, Wat Bang Prong School, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province employed the one-group pretest-posttest design. The study consisted of the following objectives: 1) to investigate the learning management based on Iddhipāda for the 6th Primary School Students, Wat Bang Prong School, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province; 2) to develop the learning achievement in the subject of Buddhism by organizing learning activity based on Iddhipāda for the 6th primary school students; and 3) to compare the learning achievement between pretest and posttest in the subject of Buddhism of the 6th primary school students, Wat Bang Prong School, Mueang Chachoengsao District, Chachoengsao Province.
From the study, it is found as follows:
1) The achievement of the learning management based on Iddhipāda in the subject of Buddhism under the learning strand of social studies, religion, and cultures, for the 6th primary school students found to have a mean of 0.53; showing that students have learning development as they have higher test score.
2) The effectiveness of learning management based on Iddhipāda in the subject of Buddhism under the learning strand of social studies, religion, and cultures, for the 6th primary school students found that students have pretest with a score of 530 and a mean of 18.00, with standard deviation of 3.57, representing 46.33%. While the posttest, students have a score of 880 and a mean of 29.00, with standard deviation of 3.35, representing 67.75%
3) From comparing the learning achievement between pretest and posttest in the subject of Buddhism based on Iddhipāda of the 6th primary school students, it is discovered that students have pretest with a mean of 21.00 and standard deviation of 5.13, representing 47.32%. Students have posttest with a mean of 31.00 and standard deviation of 4.33, representing 76.57%. From testing the learning achievement of students by using 40-question exam and analyzing the results with mean, percentage, and standard deviation, the result reveals that the posttest is higher than pretest with a statistical significance of .05 level.
