Abstract:
The objective of this study was to investigate the relationship between quality of work life and work engagement of supporting staff of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. The sample of this study was 220 of supporting staffs of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan. The questionnaire was used as a research instrument for data collection. The data collected were analyzed by descriptive statistics including frequency, percentage, mean, and standard deviation. Pearsons Correlation Coefficient was applied to test the hypothesis.
The results indicated that overall quality of work life was average opinion at the highest level. When the individual dimension was considered, an aspect social relevance with the highest average, followed by social integration, development of human capacities, the total life space, growth and security, safe and healthy working conditions and adequate and fair compensation, respectively. The results of hypothesis testing indicated that all of eight dimensions quality of work life was moderately correlated with work engagement of supporting staff of Rajamangala University of Technology Isan statistically significant at 0.01.
